Set up and maintain your company properly
Incorporation creates a separate legal person and a continuing set of director responsibilities. IFM can help organise the setup and the public company record.
Before incorporation
The decisions include the company type, name, directors, shareholders or guarantors, people with significant control, registered office, service addresses, share structure and articles. These choices should reflect the intended ownership and operation rather than being completed as a purely administrative form.
Identity verification is now a legal part of setting up and running a company. The written scope will state whether a filing can be handled by IFM or must be completed directly.
Formation support
Where included, the work can cover gathering formation information, checking that required details are present, submitting the incorporation and supplying the resulting documents. Legal or shareholder advice outside a standard formation may need a solicitor or other specialist.
The quote states the formation work, documents and third-party fees included.
Registered office and service addresses
The registered office is the company’s official public address and must meet Companies House rules. A director’s service address is also public, while the usual residential address is supplied privately to Companies House.
IFM’s registered office is not a client meeting location. Any address service would need to be expressly included in writing.
Ongoing company secretarial work
Possible work includes confirmation statements, officer changes, registered-office changes, share administration and keeping the public record aligned with company decisions. Each item has its own evidence and filing requirements.
The director remains legally responsible for timely and accurate filings even when an agent helps.
Identity verification
Directors and people with significant control have verification obligations and use personal codes to connect verified identities to company roles. Personal codes should be shared only with a trusted filer and handled securely.
Fees
Formation, annual secretarial support and individual filing work are quoted on request. Companies House fees are separate unless the quote expressly says otherwise.
